David F.

David F. has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. David started their career in the US Navy in 1995, serving as a Naval Aviator until 2006. David then worked as a Senior Operations Analyst at BGI, LLC from September 2006 onwards. In 2012, they joined VFC-111 Sun Downers where they served as an Executive Officer from January 2012 to May 2013, and subsequently as a Commanding Officer from May 2013 to July 2014. David attended the Naval War College as a student from August 2014 to June 2015. From March 2016 to January 2018, they held the position of Reserve Component Commander at Training Air Wing 4. David served as a Commanding Officer at NR Carrier Strike Group 5 from January 2018 to December 2019. David then served as a Commanding Officer at CNE-CNA-C6F Det 802 from December 2019 to October 2020. From June 2021 to May 2022, they served as a Commanding Officer at Camp Lemonnier. Since January 2017, they have been working at American Airlines as a First Officer. Most recently, starting in October 2022, they have taken on the role of Reserve Deputy Commander at Naval Air Force Atlantic.

David F. completed their Master's Degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College in 2015. Prior to that, they attended the United States Naval Academy from 1991 to 1995, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering.
