Thasheen Sumodhee

Thasheen Sumodhee is an experienced HR and Payroll Officer currently working at BIA GROUP since February 2022, providing HR support for 1,200 employees across 14 countries and managing payroll for 304 employees across various categories. Prior to this, Thasheen served as Chief Clerk HR at Beachcomber Resorts & Hotels, overseeing payroll for local and expatriate staff, preparing HR reports, and assisting in onboarding processes. Thasheen's HR career began at Beachcomber Resorts & Hotels as a Human Resources Business Consultant, where a performance appraisal project was conceptualized and a measurement framework was implemented. Thasheen holds a Master's degree in Sciences du langage from Université Sorbonne Nouvelle, a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management from the University of Mauritius, and a Bachelor of Arts in French Language and Literature from the University of Mauritius, along with high-level language certifications (DALF C1 and DELF B2).
