Senior Telco Engineer (signalling) at BICS

Slawek Kurzawa has over 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Slawek is currently employed as a Senior Telco Engineer (Signalling) at BICS since August 2022. Prior to that, they worked at T-Mobile Polska for six years, starting in October 2016 as the Chief Database Systems and Signalling Specialist until August 2022. Before joining T-Mobile Polska, Slawek worked at Orange as the Chief Mobile Network Architect from March 2012 to September 2016. Slawek was responsible for planning and developing the CS Core Network in the Mobile Systems Engineering Department, with a focus on signaling network elements.

From July 2007 to July 2011, Slawek worked at NOKIA SIEMENS NETWORKS as the Chief Customer Service Engineer, serving as the Technical Contact Point for T-Mobile Company and responsible for maintenance of the NSS subsystem. Prior to that, they were the Head of the Technical Support Team for NSS from January 2004 to June 2007. Slawek's role as the Chief Technical Support Specialist for NSS in the Technical Assistance Centre TAC2 from March 2001 to December 2003 involved providing customer technical support, solving problems, and implementing new hardware and software versions in the CS Core Network.

Before joining NOKIA SIEMENS NETWORKS, Slawek worked at Siemens as a D900 Consultant from October 1999 to December 2000. Slawek also worked at Polska Telefonia Cyfrowa (T-Mobile) as the Chief SSS Engineer from October 1997 to September 1999, where they were responsible for the administration, operation, and maintenance of Siemens Mobile Switches. Slawek's career began at ZWUT S.A., a Siemens Company, where they worked as a Commissioning Engineer for D900 from April 1996 to September 1997 and as a Commissioning Engineer for EWSD from October 1992 to March 1996.

Slawek Kurzawa attended the Warsaw University of Technology from 1986 to 1992, where they studied Electronics and Communications Engineering.
