Teresa Allen, DO, FAAFP, obtained their Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Bethany College in 1993. Teresa then attended Midwestern University from 1994 to 1998, where they earned their Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree in Family Medicine. After completing their medical degree, they obtained their Medical Doctor certification from the Wisconsin Department of Safety & Professional Services in October 1999. In March 2002, they obtained the Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics certification from the American Academy of Family Physicians. Additionally, they received their Board Certification in Family Medicine from the American Board of Family Medicine in July 2004. Teresa pursued further education and completed a Fellowship in Obstetrics at the University of Rochester from 2005 to 2006. Teresa then attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2009 to 2010, where they completed a Fellowship in Faculty Development.
