Annie M. Heitman

Annie M. Heitman has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Annie M. started their career as a Bilingual Senior Case Manager at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City, where they provided case management services and increased the number of Latino children involved in the program through targeted outreach efforts. Annie M. then became an Associate Program Director in the same organization, supervising and coaching program staff while improving efficiency and reporting outcomes to funders.

After their tenure at Big Brothers Big Sisters, Annie worked as an Associate Director at Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, providing consultation and support services to affiliates nationwide. Annie M. played a crucial role in developing and evaluating trainings and support materials, conducting audits, and ensuring program quality and brand reputation.

Annie also worked as a Civil Rights Investigator at the City of Kansas City, MO, where they conducted fair housing investigations and assisted in planning and executing the 2015 Civil Right Summit. Annie M. further gained experience as an Organizational Consultant, volunteering with nonprofit organizations to evaluate services and assist in strategic planning.

In their most recent role as the Affiliate Engagement Director at Girls Inc., Annie provided support and consultation to affiliate leaders in the northeast, fostering positive relationships and impacting the lives of girls in their communities. Annie M. also co-led a project to align and update quality assurance standards across the network of affiliates.

Currently, Annie holds the position of Vice President of Programs at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Chicago, where they oversee the organization's programs and drives their success.

Annie M. Heitman's education history includes earning a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from Rockhurst University from 2015 to 2016. Annie M. also obtained a Bachelor of Social Welfare degree from The University of Kansas from 1996 to 2000.

Additionally, Annie has participated in a travel seminar, "Mexico - Headwaters of the Migrant Stream," at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2000. Annie M. completed their high school education at Wichita High School East, although the specific start and end years are unknown.
