We’re looking for A dynamic, proactive Finance Associate (Commercial). This is a fast-paced role in a somewhat ambiguous and ever-changing environment so the ability to be flexible is key to success.

About the job Financial reporting in compliance with relevant applicable accounting and taxation standards, Companies Act, Central Bank, statutory law as well as any other relevant reporting requirements. This includes the preparation of information for management accounts by Products, value adding financial analysis, submissions to management and other regulatory reporting requirements, budget in a timely, complete, and accurate manner. This includes business partnering with other business units. Preparation of month-end closing and work closely with Corporate team for accurate and timely submissions of information Assist the Corporate team with queries from the auditors, tax agents, bankers, regulators, and any other stakeholders Manage the day-to-day finance operations and keeping in check of regulatory operational requirements Provide support to the management team when required. Initiate, develop, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that meet business needs and comply with contract requirements, regulations and accounting standards (local and international FRS) Continually strive to improve processes, efficiency, standardisation and simplification activities within the team

To be successful Have a Bachelor’s Degree or above in Accountancy and Finance. Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in accounting/finance. Working experience within the Financial Services industry is an added advantage. Proficient in Excel. Added advantage to have knowledge in SAP, SQL programming, Power Query, Power Automate, Google BigQuery and Google Data Studio. Have a good command of English (spoken and written). Having a professional accounting certificate (ACCA/CPA/ICAEW) is an added advantage
