Denise M.

Denise M. has a diverse work experience in accounting and controlling roles. Denise started their career as a Junior Accountant at Realex AG in May 2006 and worked there until August 2008. In September 2008, they joined St. Galler Kantonalbank AG as a Senior Accountant and worked there until January 2014. Denise then joined LV-St.Gallen as the Head of Accounting in July 2014, where they worked until July 2015. Since September 2016, Denise has been working at BIL Suisse, initially as an Associate Director Accounting / Controlling until March 2020 and currently as the Director Accounting / Controlling. Denise'sresponsibilities at BIL Suisse include monthly, quarterly, and yearly closings, regulatory reporting to SNB, preparation of the annual report, MIS-reporting, adhoc reportings, tax declarations preparation, implementation of new IFRS standards, assisting in the implementation of transfer pricing rules, and GL bookings.

From 2001 to 2005, Denise attended Business College, where they obtained a Diploma of Professional Maturity. In 2006, they studied at Berufsbildungszentrum Wil and earned a degree as a Sachbearbeiterin Rechnungswesen edupool.ch, specializing in Rechnungswesen. Denise continued their education at Akademie St. Gallen from 2008 to 2011, where they became a Swiss certified specialist for finance and accounting. In 2013, they attended veb.ch and obtained a degree as an Expert Swiss GAAP FER. Finally, from 2014 to 2017, Denise studied at Controller Akademie and earned the degree of Chartered expert in financial and managerial accounting and reporting. Additionally, throughout their education, Denise obtained several certifications related to accounting and finance.
