Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Business Partner who will be responsible for providing strategic HR guidance and support across our EU operations. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders and stakeholders, ensuring alignment between HR initiatives and organizational goals while navigating the complexities of European (Poland, Belgium, Netherlands, UK, Germany) employment law.

What you'll do:

  • Partner with business leaders to understand strategic objectives and develop HR strategies that support business growth and employee engagement
  • Provide expert guidance and interpretation of Dutch employment law, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and requirements
  • Lead and support HR initiatives, including performance management, talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, and benefits
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs that promote a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Conduct regular assessments of HR processes and practices to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation
  • Coach and mentor HR team members, fostering professional development and building capabilities within the team
  • Act as a change agent, driving organizational change initiatives and promoting a culture of continuous improvement
  • Handle complex employee relations issues, investigations, and disputes, ensuring fair and equitable resolutions
  • Partner with external legal counsel and consultants as needed to address legal matters and mitigate risk

What You'll Bring to the Team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on HR business partnering and strategic HR initiatives
  • In-depth knowledge and Dutch employment law, with a proven track record of applying legal principles in HR decision-making, Polish employment knowledge is a big plus 
  • Experience working in a global or multinational organization preferred
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to understand and align HR strategies with business objectives
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including the ability to influence and drive change
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a results-oriented mindset
  • Fluency in English is required, proficiency in Polish and/or Dutch is a plus
