Sofia Recchia

Sofia Recchia has work experience as a Biotechnology Engineer at Bioextrax AB since 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an Intern at Chalmers University of Technology from March 2022 to June 2022. Sofia'srole during the internship involved evaluating the synergistic effects of lignocellulose hydrosilate inhibitors on the performance of S. cerevisiae, specifically investigating the impact of perturbations on microbial robustness and other parameters.

Sofia Recchia completed their education from 2017 to 2022. Sofia started their academic journey at Università degli Studi di Verona, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from 2017 to 2020. Building upon their undergraduate studies, Sofia further pursued their Master of Science degree in Biotechnology for bioresources and sustainable development at the same institution from 2020 to 2022.
