Andriana Papaconstantinou

Andriana Papaconstantinou has an extensive work experience in the field of medical writing and scientific affairs. Andriana is currently serving as a Senior Director of Medical Writing at Bioforum the Data Masters since January 2023. Prior to this role, they worked as a Director, Senior Medical Writer at the same company from March 2021 to December 2022.

Before joining Bioforum, Andriana worked at Qualitis Ltd as a Scientific Affairs Manager from January 2016 to March 2021. Their responsibilities included the development of clinical study protocols, clinical study reports, case report forms, and informed consent forms. Andriana also authored publications for peer-reviewed journals, abstracts for scientific meetings, and poster presentations. Andriana previously held the position of Scientific Affairs Advisor at Qualitis Ltd from May 2012 to January 2016.

Andriana's career also includes experience as a Medical Writer/Scientific Editor at Spandidos Publications from September 2010 to May 2012.

Andriana began their professional journey as a Medical Writer at Technical Resources International, Inc in 2006, where they prepared Investigator's Brochures, clinical Investigational Medicinal Product Dossiers (IMPDs), and Investigational New Drug Applications (INDs). Andriana also worked as a senior scientist for the HSDB databank (NLM, NIH) during their time at the company.

Andriana started their academic career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Cancer Institute in September 2003 and continued until November 2006. Prior to that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the FDA in the Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH) from 2002-2003.

Andriana Papaconstantinou completed their Master of Science degree in Toxicology at The George Washington University from 1995 to 1998. Andriana continued their education at the same university and obtained a PhD in Biology with a specialization in Toxicology from 1998 to 2002.
