Efren Rael

Efren Rael, MD has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. From 2022, they have been serving as the Senior Medical Director, Clinical Affairs at Biofourmis. Prior to that, they worked as the Vice President of Clinical Development at Docbot (YC W19) from 2019 to 2021. Efren also held the position of Clinical Director at the Sean N. Parker Center for Allergy Research at Stanford University from 2015 to 2018. From 2010 to 2015, they worked as an Assistant Professor at the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. Before that, they served as a Fellow at the University of South Florida from 2008 to 2010.

Dr. Efren Rael completed their Bachelor's degree in Microbiology and Immunology at The University of Texas at Austin. Efren then obtained their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. Rael went on to complete an internship in the General Surgery Residency Program at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Efren then pursued a Residency in Internal Medicine at Lahey Clinic. Following this, they completed a Fellowship in the Allergy and Immunology Residency Program at the University of South Florida.
