Michael Steidle

Michael Steidle, PharmD, MBA has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Michael has held various roles in medical affairs, including serving as the Executive Director of Field Medical Affairs for Geron Corporation since April 2023. Prior to that, they worked at BioCryst Pharmaceuticals, Inc. as the Head of Global Pipeline Engagement Strategy and National Head of Field Medical Affairs from June 2020 to April 2023. Michael also worked at Exact Sciences as the Director of Field Medical Affairs from February 2019 to June 2020.

Before joining BioCryst Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Michael held positions at Melinta Therapeutics as the National Director of the Medical Science Liaison Team & Medical Affairs and Director of Compliance & Field Operations from November 2016 to June 2020. Michael also worked at Strongbridge Biopharma (formerly Cortendo) as the Senior Director of Global Medical Affairs & MSL Team from May 2015 to November 2016.

Prior to these roles, Michael worked at Salix Pharmaceuticals as an Associate Director of the Medical Science Liaison Team, as well as a Medical Science Liaison and Senior Medical Science Liaison from March 2009 to May 2015. Michael also worked at Amgen as a Senior Medical Science Liaison from March 2006 to March 2009, and at Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. as a Medical Science Liaison II from January 2005 to March 2006.

Michael's career in the pharmaceutical industry began at sanofi-aventis, where they worked as a Professional Sales Representative from January 2000 to February 2003.

Michael Steidle has a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. Michael also holds a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from the same university. Additionally, they have a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Health/Health Care Administration/Management from American University. Michael completed accounting coursework at Loyola University Maryland.
