Ella Sorani

Ella Sorani is the Chief Development Officer at BioLineRx. Ella has over 17 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, having worked extensively in both non-clinical safety and clinical development.

Sorani began their career at Teva Pharmaceuticals in 2000 as a non-clinical safety project manager. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing all aspects of the non-clinical safety program for new drug candidates, including research, mechanistic studies, toxicology, CMC, and regulatory support. Ella also led a global team of experts in various disciplines, ensuring the quality and timeliness of all project deliverables.

In 2006, Sorani was promoted to Senior Director and Project Leader, where they continued to oversee all aspects of the company's drug development program. In this role, they were also responsible for managing a complex global team and ensuring the quality and budget of all projects.

Sorani has been with BioLineRx since 2017, where they have continued to lead the company's Research and Development efforts. Under their guidance, the company has made significant progress in developing new drugs and expanding its clinical pipeline.

Ella Sorani attended Tel Aviv University.

They work with Gideon Stein - Senior Director of Clinical Development Strategy, Bela Neiman - Senior Director of Analytical Chemistry, and Efrat Halbfinger - Senior Director of Chemistry. Ella Sorani reports to Philip A. Serlin, CEO.
