David de Renzy

Director, Systems Integration at Biolinq

David de Renzy has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. David is currently working at Biolinq as the Associate Director of Systems Integration since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked at BD as a Staff Engineer in Product Development from March 2020 to June 2022. In 2019, David was self-employed as an Engineering Consultant, where they designed and developed manufacturing and test processes for a sublingual therapeutics start-up.

From 2009 to 2018, David worked at Dexcom in multiple roles. David started as a Research Associate in R&D and then moved on to become an Engineer in R&D, where they led rapid build/test cycles for the development of next-generation products. Later, they became a Senior Process/Project Engineer in R&D, where they led the mechanical design and process development of the first fully-disposable Continuous Glucose Monitor. Lastly, they served as a Staff Systems Engineer, leading the Systems Engineering team for the next-generation Continuous Glucose Monitoring System while establishing SE infrastructure and discipline.

Before Dexcom, David worked as an Engineering Intern - Data Analyst at Fruition Sciences in 2008, where they performed data analysis and provided field support for a tech start-up in the wine industry.

Throughout their career, David has demonstrated expertise in systems integration, product development, process development, and R&D.

David de Renzy earned a Bachelor's Degree in Bioengineering from the University of California, Berkeley, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. In addition, they have obtained various certifications throughout their career, including Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (ICBB) from UC San Diego Extension in February 2017, Design for Six Sigma Training from Successful Statistics in 2017, Emotional Intelligence Training and TotalSDI Assessment from TotalSDI in 2017, GD&T Fundamentals Training from Technical Consultants Inc. in 2013, and LabVIEW Associate Developer certification from UC San Diego Extension in 2010.
