Heidi Smith

Heidi Smith has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Heidi started their career as a Research Associate at Biosite Diagnostics in 1992, and later moved on to work as a Research Associate at Hygeia Pharmaceuticals in 1993. In 1994, they joined Applied Molecular Evolution as a Research Scientist, where they remained until 2005. Heidi then joined Allermed Laboratories as a Scientist from 2006 to 2009. From 2010 to 2019, they worked at Prometheus Laboratories Inc., a Nestlé Health Science Company, as a Senior Development Associate, where they gained experience in research techniques, QC techniques, and development techniques. In 2019, they transitioned to Intertek as a Scientist, specializing in immunological assay design and troubleshooting. Currently, they are employed at Biological Dynamics as a Scientist, where they are responsible for assay development and troubleshooting, as well as technical document writing. Heidi's expertise lies in a range of techniques including western blotting, SDS-PAGE, Luminex, NTA, tissue culture, flow cytometry, and protein purification and characterization.
