Melissa Hernandez has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Melissa began their career as a Project Assistant at Sidley Austin LLP, where they managed corporate restructurings, private equity, and security offerings. Following this, they worked as the Marketing and Office Manager at the Yosemite Mariposa County Tourism Bureau, overseeing day-to-day operations and maintaining correspondence with stakeholders.

Melissa then joined Microsoft, first as an Executive Assistant, where they organized meetings and audited vendor setups, and later as part of the Contract Management team for Microsoft Online, Inc. Melissa was responsible for managing contracts and advertising operations.

In 2013, Melissa pursued a Paralegal Certification at UC San Diego, achieving a 4.0 GPA. Melissa then joined ACCUMEN Inc. as a Corporate Paralegal and Compliance Associate, where they assisted the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer, managed contracts, and maintained corporate compliance. Melissa also participated in special projects and oversaw regulatory filings.

Melissa's next role was as a Senior Corporate Paralegal at Lytx, Inc., a leading provider of video telematics solutions. In this position, they worked closely with the General Counsel and Legal Department on contract management, corporate governance, and compliance. Melissa also handled intellectual property matters, reviewed and drafted litigation responses, and prepared professional presentations.

Most recently, Melissa served as a Senior Corporate Paralegal at Latch, where they played a crucial role in the legal operations of the company. As a Legal Operations Manager at Biological Dynamics, they continue to utilize their skills in managing legal operations.

Throughout their career, Melissa has demonstrated a strong ability to work independently while also collaborating with global organizations. Melissa has experience in contract management, corporate governance, compliance, and preparing professional presentations.

Melissa Hernandez, CHC, obtained a Paralegal Certification from the University of California, San Diego in 2013. Prior to that, they attended Scripps College from 2001 to 2006, earning a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Political Science and Legal Studies. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a Notary Public Appointment from the National Notary Association in November 2019. In April 2015, they became certified in Healthcare Compliance through the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA). Additionally, in December 2013, they obtained a Paralegal Certificate that was approved by the American Bar Association.
