Peyton Hughes has had an extensive work experience, beginning with a role as a Legislative Assistant for Congressman Frank Wolf in 1980. In 1993, they became a Global Product Manager & Sales Rep for QIAGEN - Product Manager Germany. In 2000, they took on the role of Marketing Director for Biomax Informatics - Germany. In 2004, they became a Market Segment Manager for Sigma-Aldrich. In 2005, they took on the role of Business Unit Director for ATCC, where they were tasked with getting cell cultures and clones back on track after multi-year declines. In 2008, they became the Director Sales and Marketing for GlobalStem, a start-up in critical need of systematic sales and marketing. In 2010, they became a Molecular Diagnostics Marketing Manager for QIAGEN, tasked with marketing ASRs under complex market dynamics compounded with FDA regulatory issues while identifying new strategic directions. In 2011, they took on the role of Business Development for Biomax Informatics AG.
Peyton Hughes holds an MBA in International Marketing from Texas A&M University and an MS in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Texas.
