Yong Li

Application Scientist Neuroimaging Specialist at Biomax Informatics

Yong Li is an experienced application scientist and neuroimaging specialist currently working at Biomax Informatics AG since January 2020, while also serving as a neuroimaging research specialist at Klinikum Rechts der Isar der Technischen Universität München since July 2010. With a robust background in neuroimaging, Yong Li has developed diffusion-weighted imaging acquisition sequences for movement disorder research, designed and executed simultaneous EMG/EOG-fMRI and resting state fMRI-DWI studies, and optimized analytic pipelines for imaging and physiological data. Previous roles include human movement scientist at the Clinical Neuropsychology Research Group, where experimental designs addressed cognitive inabilities, and kinesiologist at the Motor Control Laboratory, focusing on bimanual multi-joint movements. Yong Li holds a PhD in Motor Control and Kinesiology and a Master's in Biology, Genetics, both from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven.
