Eric Bonabeau

Eric Bonabeau has a diverse work experience. Eric is currently serving as the Dean Emeritus at Minerva University since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Chief Technology Officer at BiomEdit from October 2022. Eric was also a Professor of Practice at the SFI-ASU Center for Biosocial Complexity at Arizona State University starting from May 2015. Eric served as the Chief Scientific Officer at Telepathy Labs from January 2018 to October 2022. From 2001 to 2017, they worked at Icosystem, first as the Chairman and later as the CEO. Eric has also worked as a Mentor at Singularity University from March 2016 to August 2017 and as the Dean of Global Affairs at Minerva Schools at KGI in 2016. Eric was the Founding Dean of the College of Computational Sciences at Minerva Schools from October 2013 to December 2015. Eric Bonabeau was also a Practitioner Fellow at Stanford University from March 2013 to January 2014 and an Adjunct Professor at George Mason University from 2003 to 2005.

Between the years of 1987 and 1990, Eric Bonabeau attended École Polytechnique, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computational and Applied Mathematics.

From 1990 to 1992, they pursued further education at Télécom Paris, earning a Masters degree in Telecommunications. During the same period, they also attended Paris-Sud University (Paris XI) and obtained a second Masters degree in Computer Science.

Continuing their academic journey, Eric Bonabeau pursued a PhD in Theoretical Physics at Paris-Sud University (Paris XI) from 1992 to 1996.

Prior to their higher education, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree at Lycee Hoche between 1985 and 1987, however, the field of study for this degree is not specified.
