Tewodros Debebe Aklilu(PhD)

Tewodros Debebe Aklilu (PhD) has had a diverse work experience. In 2009, they began their career as a Lecturer at Bahir Dar University where they worked until 2012. Following this, they joined Leipzig University in 2016 as a Scientific Assistant. Since April 2017, Tewodros has been serving as the Head of Science at BIOMES.

Tewodros Debebe Aklilu (PhD) completed their Bachelor's degree in Microbiology and Parasitology from Jimma University in 2006. Tewodros Debebe then pursued a Master's degree in Tropical and Infectious Diseases from Addis Ababa University, which they completed between 2007 and 2009. In 2012, Tewodros obtained an Advanced Diploma in Vaccinology from Pasteur Institute. Subsequently, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Medical Microbiology from Leipzig University, completing their studies in the period from 2013 to 2017.
