Jeff Reifenberger

Jeff Reifenberger has over a decade of experience in the field of genomics and bioinformatics. Currently serving as Staff Scientist and previously as Senior Scientist at Bionano Genomics, Inc. since August 2012, Jeff Reifenberger's work focuses on innovative genomic technologies. Prior to this, Jeff Reifenberger was an Independent Consultant for Brad Bernstein, MD, PhD, from January to July 2012 and held the position of Senior Research Scientist at Helicos BioSciences Corp. from January 2007 to August 2011. At Helicos, Jeff Reifenberger led a research team in developing single molecule sequencing and managed collaborations with Washington University. Jeff Reifenberger holds a PhD and MS in Physics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a BS in Physics from the University of Arizona.
