Michele Arena, PMP

Michele Arena, PMP has over 18 years of experience in the healthcare industry. In 2021, they began working as Project Lead at BioSymetrics, where they lead phenomics-driven drug discovery programs that integrate clinical and experimental data, using machine learning to translate human disease biology and advance precision medicines. Michele also delivers early drug discovery AI and Machine Learning solutions and services that are focused on complex biomedical data and advanced large-scale predictive analytics.

From 2019 to 2021, Michele was the VP Professional Services at Harris Coordinated Care Solutions, where they were hired to reinvent an underperforming Professional Services team and improve delivery across 3 behavioral and public health product lines and ERP. Michele was also responsible for the P&L accountability.

From 2003 to 2019, Michele worked at Allscripts in various roles. Michele was promoted to Director Program Enablement and Regional Director, where they were responsible for services revenue, created add-on sales, and was the main escalation point. Michele also maintained relationships with clients' C-suite and ensured services delivery teams performed at top level. Michele was then recruited as Program Director, where they directed all aspects of healthcare software delivery for Acute Care, Ambulatory, Population Health Analytics and Revenue Cycle for assigned enterprise and / or multi-facility clients per contract.

Michele Arena, PMP obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Marketing from Youngstown State University, followed by an Associate of Arts and Sciences - AAS in Respiratory Therapy from the same institution. Michele also holds a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute.
