Louisa Conklin

Director, Partnering Operations at Biotechnology Innovation Organization

Louisa Conklin has a diverse work history, starting as a Program Manager at StreetWise Partners from 2008 to 2010. Louisa then worked as yacht crew on sailing and motor yachts from 2010 to 2015, eventually becoming a solo engineer. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Business Development Coordinator at BOND Brothers, where they executed data clean-up and migration tasks. In 2018, they became the Captain of the Mildred Belle, a historic educational vessel operated by Living Classrooms of the National Capital Region. Louisa joined NPR in 2019, taking on several roles, including Project Manager, EA, and Change Management Analyst. Louisa'smost recent experience is as the Director of Partnering Operations at the Biotechnology Innovation Organization since 2023.

Louisa Conklin holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Philosophy from The Johns Hopkins University. In addition, they have obtained a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from Scrum Alliance in February 2020. Furthermore, they have a Master, 50 Ton Inland / Mate, 100 Ton Near Coastal certification from the US Coast Guard Auxiliary.
