John Langendoerfer

John Langendoerfer has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and industries. John started their career at First Boston as a consultant and office developer before moving on to Lazard Frères Asset Management, where they provided desktop support and development. At Merrill Lynch, they worked as a developer and project leader, integrating major application suites for branch offices. John then joined Sanofi-Aventis as a forecaster and consultant, specializing in Excel forecast models for various products. John also worked at Deutsche Bank as a developer and project manager, redesigning and migrating Microsoft Word/Excel applications. Langendoerfer was a consultant at Ryan Beck & Co. and Credit Suisse, where they designed next-generation research authoring applications and customized Office features. John was the president and senior consultant at Farpoint Design & Modeling, specializing in software development and project management. Currently, they are the director of IT at Biovid Corp, where they manage IT infrastructure for a pharmaceutical market research firm, including network hardware and software, PCs, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices.

John Langendoerfer holds a BA degree in Biology from Reed College, which they obtained from 1978 to 1981. John then pursued their MFA degree in Theatre/Dance from New York University Tisch School of the Arts, studying from 1985 to 1988. In 2008, they attended Microsoft and obtained a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist degree in Visual Studio Tools for Office.
