Lead UX Technical Designer at BioWare

Silvio Liria has worked in various roles throughout their career. They currently hold the position of Lead UX Technical Designer at BioWare, where they manage a team and contribute to the creation of high-quality user interfaces for an AAA game called Dragon Age. Prior to this, they worked at Electronic Arts (EA) as a Lead UX Technical Designer and User Interfaces Software Engineer III, focusing on enhancing collaboration between developers and designers and eliminating redundancies in the code base. They also worked as a Senior User Interface Developer at Globant, where they improved the interaction between developers and designers and designed reusable generic components. Additionally, they served as the Development Team Leader at Securitas Argentina, leading the design and development of an in-house GPS monitoring solution. They have also worked as a Development Team Lead at TOOVARI LEARNING SL and co-founded a graphic design and RIA development company called exogeno. Prior to their professional career, Silvio Liria worked as a freelancer, specializing in architectural 3D graphics and graphic design.

Silvio Liria has a diverse education history. In 2004-2005, they attended the Xul Solar Art School, where they pursued a degree in Graphic Design. Prior to that, from 1998-1999, they studied Image & Sound Design at the Buenos Aires University. Their earliest educational experience was from 1991-1997 at the "Antonio Bermejo" Technical Education National School, where they obtained a degree in Electromechanics. In addition to their formal education, Silvio has obtained multiple certifications, including C++ Essential Training from LinkedIn in 2020, and various professional development courses from LinkedIn and other institutions between 2015 and 2017. In 1996, they also earned the First Certificate in English from the University of Cambridge.
