Pmp® Asif Majeed Agile Pgm®

Asif Majeed has over 11 years of work experience in project and construction management. Asif is currently working as a Project Control Lead at Bird Construction since July 2023. Prior to that, they served as Manager at Karot Power Company (Pvt.) Limited from August 2016 to August 2023, where they provided engineering and project/construction management services for the development of a 1124 MW hydro power project. Asif also worked as a Manager at Kohala Hydro Company (Pvt.) Limited from August 2016 to June 2022, overseeing the development of the Kohala Hydro Power Project.

Before that, Asif worked at Advanced Engineering Associates International Inc., USA from an unspecified date in 2010 to 2016 as a Senior Projects Monitoring & Implementation Engineer. In this role, they monitored and implemented energy projects funded by USAID, including the rehabilitation of power plants and the completion of multipurpose dams. Asif also prepared monthly project progress reports and conducted quality inspections at project sites.

Prior to their role at Advanced Engineering Associates International Inc., Asif worked at Packages Limited from January 2010 to June 2010 as a Project employee. Asif also had an internship experience at Pak Elektron Limited (PEL) in 2009, where they contributed to the manufacturing process of electrical transformers and provided troubleshooting support.

Asif is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®) and Agile PgM®.

Asif Majeed, PMP®, Agile PgM®, completed a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, from 2006 to 2010. In 2014, they obtained a Master's degree in Project Management from the Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology. In terms of additional certifications, Asif Majeed obtained the PMP® certification from the Project Management Institute in May 2015. Asif also holds the AgilePgM® Foundation certification from APMG International, achieved in September 2020. Additionally, they have completed the Verified International Academic Qualifications program from the World Education Services in December 2021.
