Nicholas Bevins

Nicholas Bevins has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Nicholas is currently serving as the Clinical Laboratory Director at Birdrock Laboratories since November 2021. In addition, they hold the position of Chief Medical Officer at Sequence Sciences starting from October 2022. Prior to this, Nicholas worked as the Clinical Laboratory Director at Bertis Inc from September 2022. Nicholas has also held the position of Head of Clinical Laboratory Operations at Sapient from November 2021 to October 2022.

Nicholas has a background in healthcare and research. Nicholas was a Molecular Genetic Pathology Fellow at UC San Diego Health from July 2021 to December 2021, and previously worked as a Resident Physician at the same institution from 2018 to July 2021.

Earlier in their career, Nicholas gained experience in consulting roles. Nicholas worked as a Senior Associate at Charles River Associates from September 2016 to October 2017, and as a Freelance Consultant at Nick Bevins Consulting from February 2016 to September 2016. Nicholas also served as a Senior Consultant at Promidian from October 2013 to January 2016.

Nicholas started their professional journey as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Université de Strasbourg in July 2013. Prior to that, they worked as a Consultant at MealLogger from October 2010 to June 2013.

Nicholas Bevins completed their education with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from UC San Diego School of Medicine in 2013, specializing in the field of Medicine. Prior to that, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Neurobiology and Neurosciences from UC San Diego between 2007 and 2011. Nicholas also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Biochemistry from Columbia University, having graduated in 2004. Additionally, they obtained a Private Pilot Certificate from the Federal Aviation Administration in 2016, and more recently, in 2021, they received a Certification in Clinical Pathology from The American Board of Pathology (ABPath).
