John Caticchio

John Caticchio has a diverse work experience spanning several companies in the healthcare industry. John is currently working as the Head of Finance at Birdsong Hearing Benefits since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at WellCare Health Plans from 2018 to 2022 as the Senior Manager of Regulatory Financial Reporting, responsible for financial reports for Medicaid operations in Florida and Hawaii.

Before joining WellCare, Caticchio was the Vice President of Finance at Independence Care System from 2014 to 2018. In this role, they oversaw the development of annual operating forecasts, monthly variance reporting analysis, and regulatory reporting. John also provided analytical support to the CFO and other key functional areas.

From 2011 to 2014, Caticchio held multiple roles at Affinity Health Plan, including Assistant Vice President of Claims & Customer Service, Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, and Senior Corporate Financial Analyst. During their time there, they developed annual operating budgets and conducted monthly analysis of actual to forecast.

Prior to Affinity Health Plan, Caticchio worked as the Director of Underwriting at Carolina Care Plan from 2005 to 2010, where they managed the development of commercial and individual health insurance premiums. John also implemented strategies to maximize revenue and compliance.

Caticchio's earlier experience includes roles as the Director of Underwriting at Qualchoice from 2002 to 2005 and Director of Market Planning & Product Development at Kaiser Permanente from 1999 to 2002. John also held various managerial positions at Mercy Health Plan, MCare, and Kaiser Permanente from 1993 to 1999.

John Caticchio earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from David N. Myers University (previously Dyke College) between 1975 and 1979.
