Professor Dr Cindy Millman

Professor Dr. Cindy Millman has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of academia and business. Professor Dr Cindy currently holds the position of Director of Business School for the Creative Industries at the University for the Creative Arts. Prior to this, they served as Acting Director and Deputy Director in the same department.

In addition to their current position, Dr. Millman has also worked as an External Examiner at the University of Kent, Canterbury Christ Church University, Griffith College Dublin, and the University of Lincoln. Professor Dr Cindy has also held various roles at Birmingham City University, including Associate Director of Quality and Accreditation, Deputy Head of Department, Associate Professor in Business, Business Subject Group Leader, and Senior Lecturer. Professor Dr Cindy has also held a Visiting Professor position at Wuhan University of Science and Technology.

Earlier in their career, they worked as a Lecturer at Birmingham City Business School, a Researcher at the University of Central England, and held positions at Liaoning Huaxi Group Corporation as an Account Manager and Merchandiser.

Professor Dr Cindy Millman holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in International Entrepreneurship from Birmingham City University, which they completed in 2017. Prior to that, they achieved an MA degree in Education from the School of Education at Birmingham City University, specializing in Higher Education. Professor Dr Cindy obtained this degree in 2009-2010, and they also pursued a part-time MA in Education in Higher Education from the same school, completing it in 2008-2009. In addition to their educational background, they obtained an MSc degree in Business Management & Marketing from Birmingham City University in 2002-2004, and a BA degree in English & American Literature from Dalian University of Foreign Languages in 1988-1992. Professor Dr Cindy Millman has also obtained a certification in "Leading at a Distance" from LinkedIn in 2020.
