Manufacturing Development Manager WCM And Lean Manager At Country Level at Birra Peroni

Lorenzo Morena has extensive work experience in the manufacturing and supply chain industry. Lorenzo started their career at EEMS Italia (formerly Texas Instruments) as a Quality Control Engineer in 1997. Lorenzo then moved on to become an Equipment Engineer Manager and later a Manufacturing Manager & Project Manager at the same company, working from 1998 to 2002.

In 2002, Lorenzo joined SABMiller_Birra Peroni, where they served as a Packaging Engineer at the headquarters level until 2007. Lorenzo also had a brief stint as a Technical Manager at the Napoli brewery in 2004.

Lorenzo then joined Birra Peroni in 2007 as a Manufacturing Development Manager and Lean Manager at the country level. Lorenzo was responsible for overseeing the activities of all Peroni plants and implementing the World Class Manufacturing (WCM) program to improve quality, productivity, and reduce waste. Lorenzo also developed the country strategy for Lean TPM and played a role in digitalizing and simplifying ISC processes.

From 2014 to 2016, Lorenzo worked at SABMiller as the World Class Manufacturing Lead for Europe. In this role, they oversaw WCM activities of all European breweries and reported to the Europe Manufacturing Director.

In 2016, Lorenzo joined Asahi Europe Ltd as a Functional DH-WCM. In this position, they reported to the Group Supply Chain Director and was responsible for ensuring functional leadership and sound governance processes for WCM across the group. Lorenzo held this role until December 2020.

Lorenzo Morena completed their education in a chronological order. From 1985 to 1989, they attended Liceo Scientifico and obtained their maturità scientifica. Following that, from 1989 to 1995, they pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Naples "Federico II" and also at Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II. Lorenzo earned a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering during this period. In terms of certifications, they completed the European Management Development Programme at Ashridge Business School and became an internal auditor for UNI EN ISO 19011, certified by SGS. Lorenzo is also licensed in the Engineer Profession by the University of Naples "Federico II."
