Leticia Teran Vega

Leticia Teran Vega has worked in a variety of roles in the field of business intelligence since 2014. In 2021, they began working as a Gestión de Proyectos / Senior BI Consultant at Bismart, Business Intelligence Specialist Services, where they are responsible for managing projects, interacting with business users to identify use cases, and creating technical proposals. In 2020, they worked as the Responsable del Equipo de SQL, Power BI, Azure y Tableau at IZERTIS, where they were in charge of leading the team and creating technical proposals. From 2017 to 2020, they worked as a Business Intelligence Consultant at Clarcat, where they were responsible for ETL processes, creating flexible and interactive dashboards, and more. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Personal Investigador Contratado de Duración Determinada at the Grupo de Investigacion en Geomática y Computación Gráfica (GEOGRAPH) of the Universidad de Oviedo, where they programmed algorithms for image and video processing. In 2015, they worked as a Coordinadora de Patrimonio 3D at the Ayuntamiento de Santander, where they coordinated a team dedicated to virtualization and AI techniques for creating a 3D tour of the city. Finally, from 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Becaria del Programa Alumno-Tutor and as Directora de Proyecto Fin de Carrera at the Universidad de Cantabria.

Leticia Teran Vega completed a Licenciatura in Física with a specialization in Electrónica, Automática y Procesamiento de la Señal from the Universidad de Oviedo, followed by a Tesina de Licenciatura in Procesamiento de la Señal from the same university. Leticia then went on to pursue a Máster in Matemáticas y Computación from the Universidad de Cantabria. Leticia has also obtained a number of certifications, including Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate in December 2021, Scrum Fundamentals Certified (SFC) in October 2021, SAS Data Governance Essentials in February 2021, Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Power BI in November 2019, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals in September 2019, Tableau Qualified Associate in July 2018, and Academy Accreditation - Databricks Lakehouse Fundamentals in May 2022.
