Stacy L. Holmes, MPA has a long and varied work experience. In 1994, they began working as a Health Program Specialist (HIV/AIDS) at the Washington State Department of Health. In 1996, they moved to the King County Bar Association as the Manager of the Legal Services VAPWA Program. In 2001, they took on the role of Program Coordinator at Community-Campus Partnerships for Health, where they administered projects relating to health professional education and community-based participatory research. In 2003, they became the Deputy Director of Springwire/Community Voice Mail, managing operations and subcontracts for the national nonprofit. In 2012, they moved to the Washington State Bar Association as the Mentoring and Peer Networks Manager, providing leadership, coaching, and supervision to staff. In 2015, they started their own business, Stacy L. Holmes, LLC, providing career coaching and consulting services. Finally, in 2016, they became the Director of Community Administration at Bitfocus, a technology company that creates solutions to social challenges.

Stacy L. Holmes, MPA, holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Multicultural Studies and Human Services from The Evergreen State College, which they earned between 1990 and 1994. Stacy L. then earned a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from the Evans School of Public Policy and Governance at the University of Washington, which they completed between 1999 and 2001. Her field of study at the Evans School of Public Policy and Governance was Nonprofit Management, Program Design and Impact Evaluation.
