Paul Brien

Paul Brien has extensive work experience in various HR and rewards roles. Most recently, they were the VP People at Bitrise since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Head of Total Reward & HR Business Partnering at Bitrise from December 2021 to May 2022. Before joining Bitrise, Paul held the position of Reward Transformation Director at Flutter Entertainment Plc from January 2021 to December 2021. Paul also served as the Head Of Incentives at Computershare from November 2020 to January 2021. Earlier in their career, Paul worked as the Director Total Rewards at Blueprism from October 2018 to July 2020, and as the EMEA Director of Compensation & Benefits at Insight from September 2014 to September 2018. Paul also has experience as an International Compensation Leader at ADP Dealer Services, where they were responsible for managing compensation programs and reviews. In addition, Paul worked at Medtronic as an Area Rewards Leader, Senior Compensation Specialist, and HR Manager, overseeing various aspects of rewards and HR. Paul started their career as an HR Business Partner at Capita and as a Workforce Planning Specialist at the Environment Agency.

Paul Brien attended Abbey Grammar School from 1988 to 1995. Paul then studied at Queen's University Belfast from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a BSSC degree in Information Management & Spanish. From 2010 to 2014, they attended World at Work but did not earn a specific degree or field of study.
