Kazem Memarzadeh

Senior Software Architect at BitRouter

Kazem Memarzadeh has over 30 years of work experience in the tech industry. In 2012, they began working as a Senior Software Architect at BitRouter. From 2000-2012, they held various roles at Cisco Systems, Scientific Atlanta, ADC, Checkmate Electronics, and NCR Corporation. At Cisco Systems, they were a Technical Lead, developing software for cable TV Set-Top boxes for the international markets. Kazem also designed and implemented an object-oriented Flash File System with multiple partitions in C++. At Scientific Atlanta, they redesigned and cost reduced a digital control card used in Scientific Atlanta’s BDR amplifiers, and implemented the MPEG packet de-jitter algorithm. At ADC, they designed the hardware and firmware of the Digital Control Card used in ADC’s PathWorx RF Amplifiers. At Checkmate Electronics, they led a team of two hardware and three software engineers designing Checkmate’s next generation C-programmable debit terminal. Lastly, at NCR Corporation, they designed and developed the MSR and the digitizer tablet control circuitry for NCR’s electronic payment terminals, and led a team of software engineers to design the software architecture.

Kazem Memarzadeh has pursued graduate studies at The Ohio State University and obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Solid State Electronics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
