Chris Anderson, DBA, LSSBB

Chris Anderson, DBA, LSSBB has extensive experience in operations and consulting, teaching, and software engineering. Chris'scareer began in 1985 with McDonnell Douglass, where they designed Tomahawk anti-ship missile simulation and analysis software in Fortran and C. Chris also traveled to install and support software at 15 US Navy ships and research facilities providing training and customer support. In 1987, Anderson began working for Siemens Nixdorf Information Systems, Inc. as a Sales Support Engineer, where they prepared market research and developed sales proposals and solution designs. Chris then joined Interactive Systems in 1988 as a Distribution Manager and grew a national two-tiered software distribution channel from under $500,000 in revenue to over $7.5 million in 3 years. In 1991, Anderson became Vice President of Operations at Arc Tangent, where they planned, directed, and coordinated the operations for a developer of desktop marketing and database management software. From 1994 to 2000, they were Chief Operations Officer at Investorsoftware.com, where they built an eCommerce website for financial analysis and developed and deployed business plans and marketing strategies. In 2019, Anderson began working as an Adjunct Professor at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, where they taught Industrial Engineering Department courses in Quality, Lean, and Six Sigma Process Improvement, Production Planning and Control, Advanced Supply Chain & Operations Management, and Engineering Economic Analysis.

Chris Anderson, DBA, LSSBB has a comprehensive educational background. Chris completed their Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale in 1984. Chris then attended Pepperdine University and obtained their Master's Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Strategy in 1990. In 2005, they completed the Advanced Manufacturing Specialist Training Program (AMSTP) at Missouri University of Science and Technology and obtained their Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification (LSSBB). In 2018, they began their Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) at University of Missouri-Saint Louis and is expected to complete it in 2021.

Additionally, Anderson has obtained several certifications. These include Predictive Analytics Essential Training for Executives from LinkedIn in 2021, Gemba Kaizen: A Commonsense Approach to Continuous Improvement (Blinkist Summary) from LinkedIn in 2020, CQM/OE - Certified Manager of Quality/Organziationel Excellece from ASQ - World Headquarters in 2009, CQPA - Certified Quality Process Analyst from ASQ - World Headquarters in 2007, CQIA - Certified Quality Improvement Associate from ASQ - World Headquarters in 2006, and CQA - Certified Quality Auditor from ASQ - World Headquarters in 2005.
