Hamish Clark

Hamish Clark began their work experience in 2009 as a Phlebotomist at Sydney Adventist Hospital, where they remained until 2014. In 2013, they also worked as a Tutor at the University of Sydney, providing assistance until 2017. In 2018, they joined black.ai as a Computer Vision Engineer, a role they held until 2019. Hamish then transitioned to the position of Senior Machine Learning Engineer at black.ai, where they worked from 2019 to 2022. Currently, Hamish holds the role of Lead Machine Learning Engineer at black.ai, starting in 2022.

Hamish Clark completed their education in a chronological manner. From 2014 to 2018, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Astronomy and Astrophysics at the University of Sydney. Prior to that, from 2011 to 2013, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Physics, also from the University of Sydney. Alongside their academic pursuits, in 2011, Hamish Clark received a certification as a Level 1 Snowboard Instructor from the Australian Professional Snowsport Instructors Inc.
