Henry Tan

Henry Tan has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries.

In 2017, they worked at Whitman Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician. Their responsibilities included assisting patients with payment transactions, generating daily sales reports, and collaborating with pharmacists to prepare medication for patients.

In 2020, Henry joined a Stealth Startup where they initially worked as a Backend Developer from December 2020 to February 2021. During this time, they contributed to the development of a chrome extension, focusing on the backend using Flask.

Later, they transitioned to a Frontend Developer role within the same company from February 2021 to May 2022. Henry was involved in building the chrome extension, leveraging React and Material UI for frontend development. The extension adapted the UI based on heart rate and breathing patterns detected through cameras.

Most recently, Henry started working as a Software Engineer at Black Spectacles in May 2022.

Henry Tan's education history begins in 2010 when they attended Brooklyn Technical High School and completed their high school diploma in 2014 with a focus on architecture. Following their high school graduation, they pursued further education at Hunter College from 2014 to 2018, studying computer science. In 2019, they attended App Academy for a brief period to acquire skills in computer programming and general programming.
