Walter Olando

Walter Olando has a strong background in project management and sustainability transitions. Walter most recently worked at Black Swan Data as a Project Manager, starting in February 2022. Prior to that, they were a Project Manager at access.mobile International, Inc. from October 2020 to February 2022. Walter also gained experience as a Teaching Assistant at the Centre for Sustainability Transitions from March 2021 to June 2021.

Earlier in their career, Walter held various roles at PharmAccess Foundation, including Project Management Officer from January 2019 to January 2020, Project Assistant from June 2017 to December 2018, and Intern from December 2016 to May 2017. Walter also worked as a Project Assistant at Clean Up Kenya from May 2016 to August 2016.

Following this, Walter attended the School of Public Leadership at Stellenbosch University in 2020, where they obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Sustainable Development. Continuing their education, from 2021 to 2022, Walter pursued a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) at the School of Public Leadership at Stellenbosch University, specializing in Sustainable Development.
