Robert Russell

Robert Russell has a diverse work experience in various industries. Robert started their career in the Police Department as a Law Enforcement officer from 2016 to 2018. Robert then served in the US Army Reserve as a Military Intelligence Officer starting from 2016. After that, they worked as a Research Analyst at Pacific Architects and Engineers from 2018 to 2019. Following this, they took on the role of Acting Branch Manager at Orkin Pest Control from 2019 to 2020. In 2020, they worked as a Relational Database Action Officer in the US Army. From 2021 to 2023, they worked at General Dynamics Information Technology, initially as Information Technology Support and later as Regional Supervisor, Information Technology Support. Robert then joined Blackpoint Cyber as Director of Threat Operations, and currently holds the position of Senior Director of Threat Operations starting from 2023.

Robert Russell has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from St. Bonaventure University, which they obtained between 2012 and 2016. Robert later pursued a Master of Science degree in Cyber Security from Liberty University, completing it between 2019 and 2021. In terms of certifications, Robert attained the CompTIA Security+ certification in November 2020, followed by the CompTIA Security Analytics Professional - CSAP Stackable Certification and the CompTIA CySA+ ce Certification in June 2021. Robert then earned the ITIL V4 Foundation certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2022, and most recently, they obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in January 2023.
