Rob Turner started their work experience in 2005 as a Communication Systems Engineer in the British Army. Rob then joined the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in 2014 as a Network Infrastructure and Security Engineer. In 2017, they joined Company X Consulting Ltd as a Principal Consultant, and later became the Development Environment Security Manager. From 2019 to 2020, they worked as a Cyber Security Specialist at the same company. In 2020, they joined the Blacksmiths Group as a Technical Security Adviser and is currently serving as the Head of Cyber.
Rob Turner completed their formal education at several institutions. In 2017-2018, they obtained a BSc(Hons) degree in Intelligence and Cyber Security from Staffordshire University. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2014, they pursued a Foundation Degree (FdSc) in Communication Systems Engineering at Bournemouth University. Furthermore, in 2009-2010, they attended the Royal School of Signals. Their earliest formal education can be traced back to their time at Fulford School from 1999 to 2004. Additionally, Rob Turner holds a variety of certifications in different fields, such as OffSec Wireless Professional (OSWP), Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner, Certified Cyber Professional Information Assurance Architect, Autopsy Digital Forensics, ITIL Foundation, CCNA Routing and Switching, and CMI Level 3 Diploma in First Line Management (QCF).
