Chris Bjugstad

Chris Bjugstad is a seasoned technology leader currently serving as the VP of Engineering at Blackwell Security, Inc. since June 2023. Previously, Chris held the position of VP of Engineering & Architecture at Nexben, where significant achievements included delivering a serverless payments and benefits platform in under seven months and collaborating on strategic roadmaps. As Chief Architect at Icario, Chris was responsible for the technology and architecture strategy of a multi-tenant SaaS health platform, providing insights to executives and stakeholders. Chris's extensive career includes roles as Platform & Mobile Architect at Spok, Enterprise Architect at Praeses, and Mobile Development Manager at WEX, among others. With a degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Math, and Engineering from North Dakota State University, Chris has demonstrated expertise across various industries, contributing to innovation and strategic technology leadership.
