Lucas Stroud

Lucas Stroud is the Director of Support Engineering at BlazeRunner. Prior to joining BlazeRunner, Lucas was a Configuration Developer at Foster Moore from June 2019 to March 2020. Lucas was also previously employed at the Town of Chapel Hill, NC from January 2018 to June 2019 as a Program Support. In this role, they worked with Python to manage and curate datasets that were hosted on the Town's "Open Data Portal". This involved the creation of scripts to obtain data from API's & SFTP's, as well as scripts to assist in the removal of PII from datasets and general data cleanliness. Their responsibilities also included obtaining data sources from different departments around the Town. In addition to all that, they also wrote some Javascript applications that were used by Chapel Hill Public Library patrons & staff.

Lucas's professional career began in August 2013 when they became the Head Coach at Gypsy Divers. Lucas held this position until September 2018 when they left to join Foster Moore.

Lucas Stroud attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they studied computer programming. Lucas then went on to work as a programmer for a software company.
