Yunio Baro Gomez has been working in the retail industry since 2015. From 2015 to 2018, they worked at Pret A Manger, first as a Production Team Member and then as a Kitchen Leader. In 2018, they were promoted to Assistant Kitchen Manager and was responsible for assisting the general manager with day-to-day responsibilities, providing stable leadership for the company, monitoring and driving a range of KPIs and being the primary contact in all matters regarding kitchen. In 2019, they moved to Bleecker Street (company) as an Assistant Manager, supporting the General Manager in the daily operations of the store and supervising employees. Yunio was also responsible for maintaining and monitoring store inventory.
Yunio Baro Gomez obtained a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) from the University of Oriente between 2003 and 2008. In 2016, they completed an ICQ Diploma in Hospitality Supervision and Leadership (QCF) 600/4759/8 from Pret a Manger. Yunio also has an Emergency First Aid at Work certification from Pret a Manger.
