Job Summary:

The Performance Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and optimising comprehensive digital marketing campaigns to achieve specific business objectives, such as sales, leads, or other conversions. This role involves closely monitoring campaign performance, analysing data, and making data-driven decisions to continuously improve campaign effectiveness and ROI.

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Strategy and Planning:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business goals and objectives.
  • Develop performance marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Identify target audiences and create buyer personas for effective targeting.

Campaign Execution:

  • Set up and launch online marketing campaigns across various platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads).
  • Create compelling ad creatives and ad copy to resonate with the target audience.
  • Implement tracking mechanisms (e.g., UTM parameters, conversion tracking pixels) to accurately measure campaign performance.

Data Analysis and Optimisation:

  • Monitor campaign performance metrics such as click-through rates (CTR), conversion rates, cost per conversion, and return on ad spend (ROAS).
  • Analyse data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
  • Make data-driven decisions to optimise campaigns for better performance.
  • Conduct A/B tests to compare different ad creatives, targeting options, landing pages, and other variables.
  • Implement experiments to uncover insights that can enhance campaign effectiveness.

Budget Management:

  • Allocate budgets effectively across campaigns to achieve maximum ROI.
  • Monitor and manage campaign budgets to ensure efficient spending.

Keyword and Audience Research:

  • Conduct keyword research to identify relevant search terms for search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns.
  • Define and refine audience segments for targeted campaigns.

Competitor Analysis:

  • Keep track of competitor activities and identify opportunities to gain a competitive edge.
  • Incorporate insights from competitor analysis into campaign strategies.

Reporting and Communication:

  • Generate regular performance reports for stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and insights.
  • Communicate campaign results, recommendations, and optimisations to the team.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Improve website and landing page conversion rates through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Implement A/B testing and other conversion rate optimisation (CRO) techniques to enhance user experience and drive desired actions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in performance marketing, implementing innovative approaches to stay ahead of the competition.

Must Haves:

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including paid search, social media advertising, display advertising, and more.
  • Proficiency in using advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, and others.
  • Data-driven mindset with excellent analytical skills.
  • Experience with data analysis and tools like Google Analytics, Excel, or similar tools.

Nice to have:

  • Creativity in developing ad creatives and campaign strategies.
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting findings to stakeholders.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the digital marketing landscape and stay updated on industry trends. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field with minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with data analysis and tools like Google Analytics, Excel, or similar tools.
