Anthony Woodson currently serves as the Chairman of the Committee for Adaptive Sports and Recreation at the Blinded Veterans Association, focusing on the mental health benefits of sports for blinded veterans. As a BVA Ambassador, Anthony guides low vision and blind veterans to resources that promote independence. In addition, Anthony holds the position of President of BVA Illinois Regional, advocating for blinded veterans' needs since 2019. With a long tenure at the American Red Cross of Greater Chicago as a Lead Caseworker, Anthony provides vital support to military families. Previous roles include Assistant Property Manager and Fire Life Safety Director at US Equities Asset Management, Continuing Education Instructor at Kankakee Community College, and Assistant Aviation Security Manager for the City of Atlanta. Anthony's military service as a Senior Intelligence Analyst and Senior Intelligence Manager in various locations further showcases a distinguished career. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Leadership and Disaster Management from Grand Canyon University and a BA in Political Science and English from Newberry College.
