Carolin Mungard

Carolin Mungard has extensive work experience in the publishing industry. Carolin recently joined Blinkist as the Head of Content Licensing and Partnerships in March 2022. Prior to that, Carolin worked at Rowohlt Verlag GmbH for over 15 years, starting as a Foreign Rights Manager in June 2006 and later becoming the Contracts & Foreign Rights Director in November 2007. Carolin worked at Eichborn Verlag from March 2005 to March 2006 as a Volontariat. Carolin also gained experience at Amsterdam University Press from March 2000 to March 2001 as a Stagiare / bureauredactie.

Carolin Mungard obtained a Magister Artium degree in Anglistik from the University of Hamburg from 1997 to 2004. Carolin pursued an Aufbaustudium in Buch- und Medienpraxis at Goethe University from 2004 to 2005. In addition, they studied Englische Literatur (Großbritannien und Commonwealth) at the University of Amsterdam from 1999 to 2001. Carolin Mungard attended Gymnasium Carolinum Osnabrück from 1990 to 1997 and Grosvenor Girls High School in Durban from 1994 to 1995. Carolin has also obtained certifications in "Unlocking Authentic Communication in a Culturally-Diverse Workplace" from LinkedIn in November 2021 and "Managerin Interne Kommunikation" from School for Communication and Management (SCM) in February 2021.
