Martin Pino has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Martin started their career as an Online Journalist and Sports Editor at Canal 12, the most popular TV channel in Uruguay. Martin then worked at AIESEC, where they served as the President and International Congress Organizer. Following this, they joined Rocket Internet GmbH as a Key Account Manager before moving on to Dafiti.cl, where they handled FB Ads and Affiliate Management.

In 2013, Martin became the Online Marketing Director at Bluedigital, where they focused on online marketing campaign ideation and implementation. Martin later served as the Performance Marketing Director, leveraging their expertise in developing strategies and teaching clients about web analytics tools.

Martin then joined Digital River as a Marketing Program Manager before pursuing an MBA degree in International Management at Cologne Business School, specializing in business administration with a focus on the sharing economy and business strategies.

Upon completing their MBA, Martin worked at trivago in various roles. Initially, they were the Media Buyer for LatAm and Spain, responsible for planning, executing, and analyzing television campaigns. Martin then became the Media Buyer for the DACH region, optimizing television campaigns and negotiating deals with media companies. Subsequently, they served as the Head of Europe - Media Buying, leading a team and promoting trivago in 15 European markets. Most recently, Martin was the Marketing Lead for weekend.com, defining marketing strategies and driving web analytics and conversion tracking.

Currently, they hold the position of Director of Performance Marketing at Blinkist.

Martin Pino holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from CBS International Business School, which they obtained between 2016 and 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Communications at Universidad Católica del Uruguay 'Dámaso Antonio Larranaga' from 2006 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, Martin has also obtained several certifications, including Deutsch B2 from telc GmbH, Google Tag Manager Fundamentals, Mobile App Analytics Fundamentals, Neuromarketing Seminar from Universidad de Santiago de Chile, Display Ads, Ecommerce Diploma from Cámara de Comercio de Santiago, Digital Analytics Fundamentals, and Google Adwords Qualified, all earned between 2013 and 2022.
