Shaun Taheri

Shaun Taheri has diverse work experience in various companies since 2008. Shaun worked as a Data Analyst and Senior Data Analyst in Centrica with a responsibility of managing a team of data analysts. At LShift, they served as a Lead Developer and also provided consultation on relational databases with a focus on developing a can set of databases across a range of clients. Shaun Taheri was employed at OptioPay Group as a Senior Developer responsible for designing and implementing a microservice architecture that was suitable for building fault-tolerant Go services, and they built the continuous delivery pipeline for containerized services. At Advanced Telematic Systems, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer responsible for building an open-source Rust client and implementing broadcasting atomic updates to microcontrollers within cars. Later on, the company was acquired by HERE Technologies. Before joining BlockJoy as a Senior Backend Engineer in 2023, Shaun Taheri worked as a Lead Software Engineer in Kraken Digital Asset Exchange from 2019-2022.

Shaun Taheri possesses a Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science, which they obtained from University College London (UCL) between 2012 and 2013. Prior to this, they earned a Master of Arts (MA) in Economics from The University of Edinburgh, where they studied from 2005 to 2009.
