Joey Dello Russo has a diverse and extensive work experience in the creative industry. Joey currently works at Bloom: Career Coaching as the Head of Content, where they are responsible for producing an ethnographic audio library of lived experiences. Prior to this, they worked at The New York Times as a Director/Editor, where they co-directed and edited a short film. Joey also served as the Executive Creative Director at MT Copeland, where they led the strategic vision for producing online courses for homebuilders. Additionally, they worked at Airbnb as a Creative Strategist, where they strategized, directed, and edited campaigns celebrating the daily lives of local people around the world. Joey has experience as a Film Director, Film Editor, and Early Creative at various companies, including ROTA6 Films, Freethink, London Alley Entertainment, and MasterClass. Joey'swork at MasterClass involved developing storytelling and editorial styles for trailers and classes, as well as growing the post-production team. Joey Dello Russo also has experience as a Film Director/Editor at C O R, where they worked on a documentary about the state of the media in the US, and as a Film Editor at Airbnb.

Joey Dello Russo attended Westwood High School from 2002 to 2006. After high school, they enrolled at New York University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Cinematography and Film/Video Production from 2006 to 2010. In 2008, Joey also studied at the Film & Television School at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, where they obtained a certificate in 35 mm Directing & Cinematography, as well as Screenwriting. During the same year, they earned another certificate in Advertising & Commercial Production from the University of Southern California.
