Barry Sharpe

Barry Sharpe has a strong background in operations and manufacturing management. Barry started their career at Ford Motor Company, where they worked as a Plant Manufacturing Manager and Assistant Plant Manager for over 14 years. Barry then joined Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Kentucky as a General Manager for 8 years. After that, they moved to Hamilton Sundstrand, where they served as Vice President of Quality and ACE, responsible for developing and expanding the Quality Management System and ACE operating system. Currently, they are working at Bloom Energy as Vice President of Operations and General Manager of the Bloom Manufacturing Center of Delaware, where they have been instrumental in aggressively expanding operations and capacity and implementing lean manufacturing practices.

Barry Sharpe earned a BS degree in Business - Marketing and Finance from Georgetown College in 1985. Barry also obtained an MSME degree in Robotics and Computer Integrated Manufacturing Systems from the Georgia Institute of Technology between 1985 and 1987.
